Rajasthan is famous for forts and palaces, but it is also one of the best wildlife regions in India. This journey puts three protected areas into one route: Sariska, an Aravalli tiger reserve; Keoladeo National Park at Bharatpur, a World Heritage wetland and one of the great birding sites of Asia; and Ranthambore, the best place in India to look for wild tigers.
The route runs from Delhi through each park in turn and ends in Jaipur, so you can spend your last day on city sights. The drives are long on two days, and we have kept them to about four to five hours with stops.
Tigers are wild and cannot be guaranteed. The sightings at Sariska are less frequent than at Ranthambore, as tigers were reintroduced there only from 2008, which is why we spend more time at Ranthambore.
