Overview

The Golden Triangle, and Then the Rest of Rajasthan

Ten days takes you around the Golden Triangle and on through Rajasthan. You see Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, then go on to Pushkar, Jodhpur and Udaipur, ending at the lake city with a short flight home or onward. It is a good length for a first trip to India that wants more than three cities.

The route runs one way, so there is no backtracking: you start in Delhi and end in Udaipur. The longest drive is about six hours, between Jaipur and Jodhpur, broken at Pushkar.

Wow… service at its best!

“We actually did 14 days which included a trip to Varanasi, then the Golden Triangle & out to Jaisalmer. Every step of the way we were accompanied by Bobby. Our Driver & coach was super, but focus on detail and ensuring that the safety & wellbeing of individual travellers was met, really put the trip at an all time high!”

Can I add Rajasthan to the Golden Triangle?

+

Yes. After Jaipur, this route goes on to Pushkar, Jodhpur and Udaipur, ending in Udaipur.

Why end in Udaipur?

+

A one-way route avoids a very long drive back to Delhi. Udaipur has an airport with flights to Delhi and Mumbai.

How long are the drives?

+

The longest is about three and a half to six hours. The table on this page lists every leg.

Is this the same as the 10 Days Rajasthan Heritage Tour?

+

No. That route includes Jaisalmer and a shorter Delhi stay. This one follows the Golden Triangle first.

Is the Taj Mahal open every day?

+

No, it is closed on Fridays. Tell us your dates and we will plan around it.

Is this tour private?

+

Yes. You have your own luxury car, driver and licensed guides. Nothing is shared with other travellers.

How do I book?

+

Send your dates through the form on this page. A Travelage specialist will reply with a tailored proposal within 24 hours.
