Overview

The Golden Triangle, Ending in the Blue City

Jodhpur is the gateway to the Rajasthan desert: a vast fort on a rock above a maze of blue-painted houses. Adding it to the Golden Triangle gives you a fort of a very different scale from Amber, and a feel of western Rajasthan.

The route runs one way, from Delhi to Agra and Jaipur and then to Jodhpur, about 340 km (210 miles) from Jaipur and five and a half to six hours. We break it with a stop at Ajmer or Pushkar if you wish. You end in Jodhpur, which has an airport and train station.

Wow… service at its best!

“We actually did 14 days which included a trip to Varanasi, then the Golden Triangle & out to Jaisalmer. Every step of the way we were accompanied by Bobby. Our Driver & coach was super, but focus on detail and ensuring that the safety & wellbeing of individual travellers was met, really put the trip at an all time high!”
